Job Description

Position Summary:

The Office & Payroll Coordinator contributes to True Food Kitchen’s success by creating and maintain a positive first impression for True Central visitors as well as those communicating via telephone and email.  This position will organize all front desk tasks to ensure the most effective and efficient office and front desk operations.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Answer telephone using welcoming etiquette and professionalism, assisting the caller and/or directing calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain all office equipment; order and maintain supplies/service for the entire office.
  • Manage the Conference Room Calendars.
  • Maintain Break & Kitchen area (dishes, fridge clean, restock), including working with janitorial service to ensure all standards are being met.
  • Order snacks, coffee and other food and beverage items for the office in accordance with the approved budget.
  • Creates and maintains a hospitable, pleasant, organized, neat and clean office environment and ensures COVID-protocol sanitation standards are maintained.
  • Process, log, and research all TFK Gift Card orders/inquiries received at True Central.
  • Receive packages and mail, review and distribute to proper True Central departments
  • Prepare mail and shipping for all True Central departments.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and sensitive payroll information.
  • Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achievement of common goals.
  • Ability to maintain a pleasant disposition and function efficiently in high stress/pressure work environment.
  • Process New Hires and Changes for field based hourly employees.
  • Maintain Employee Files (close out terminations, move transfers, add documentation, etc.)
  • Process and maintain all garnishments, including emailing notifications to employees.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Senior Payroll Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED equivalent
  • 1-2 years’ experience in guest service and/or high-volume clerical position
  • Motivated, results-oriented self-starter with ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal and motivational skills
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Solid working and knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel
