Job Description

True Food Kitchen is looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to lead development and execution of True Food Kitchen’s social media touchpoints across all channels.  The Senior Social Media Manager will play an integral role within the marketing team’s digital practice in the company’s home office in Phoenix, Ariz. In addition to evolving the brand’s content plan, responsibilities include developing highly effective campaigns, messages, and material in support of business goals and sales & marketing strategies. The ideal candidate has a passion for all things digital and is comfortable making data-driven decisions on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Yelp, Instagram, Snapchat, OpenTable and more.   A qualified candidate will have experience creating high level social strategy, generating editorial calendars, managing creative direction with designers, engaging with fans in conversations, and leading digitally focused photo shoots to enhance and support the overall brand goals and messages.  Lastly, experience putting together and presenting standard email and social media quantitative results is a requirement. True Food Kitchen is a consumer organization where marketing drives revenue and the Senior Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing programs that ensure consistency, growth and relevance. 

 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Lead True Food Kitchen’s social media content strategy and calendar to drive engagement, audience growth and conversation across all social platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, Snapchat, OpenTable; along with the relevant analytics for each (Relevancy scores, engagement, reach, CPM, CPC, etc.)
  • Establish flexible short term and long-term social media goals across all platforms and consistently analyze to measure success and track against KPIs and objectives; adjusting as necessary
  • Design and implement content plan to align with business goals and communication strategy
  • Develop, implement, and manage innovative ideas and promotions that influence campaigns, drive greater relevance, engagement, and grow social media communities
  • Set specific social media objectives and report on ROI
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to ensure that social media campaigns and concepts are appropriately integrated and amplified across platforms to support established objectives
  • Community management by interacting with customers on social channels, answering customer service questions, customer reviews, and escalate as applicable.
  • Working relationship with digital creative agency.  Manage timelines for creative requests, as well as help drive the evolving digital creative strategy.
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness including user generated content opportunities
  • Implement new social media features, as suitable to improve performance and grow audiences and engagement
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies in social media, design tools and application

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years’ experience in a social media, or digital marketing role
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Journalism or New Media preferred 
  • Strategic thinker, independent problem-solving skills, and ability to drive consensus
  • Exceptional copywriting and communication that fit the brand personality, tone and voice; demonstrated ability to optimize messages for audiences and channels
  • Strong analytics background
  • Detail-oriented and able to coordinate/manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize efforts based on the ROI of the business
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly
  • Proven experience in a consumer organization where marketing drives revenue
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Expertise publishing within all major Social Media platforms and experience using social media management platforms i.e., Sprinklr, Hootsuite
