Job Description

We're looking for a motivated and results-driven Personal Lines Producer to join our dynamic team in Stafford Springs, Connecticut. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of building meaningful client relationships while driving new business growth in the personal insurance market. As a Personal Lines Producer, you'll combine your sales expertise with a genuine passion for helping clients protect what matters most to them.   • Meet and exceed established sales quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis through consistent effort and strategic planning
  • Execute targeted sales activities including cold calls, in-person appointments, and prospect presentations to close new business and expand your client base
  • Develop and maintain a robust book of business, ensuring high renewal rates and long-term client satisfaction through proactive relationship management
  • Leverage industry-leading sales and marketing tools to identify prospects, track opportunities, and execute results-oriented campaigns
  • Collaborate effectively with Client Service teams to analyze renewal business, identify cross-sell opportunities, and seamlessly place new accounts
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in personal insurance products, staying current with industry trends and best practices to provide clients with tailored solutions
  • Mentor and support less experienced Producers, sharing sales methodologies and guiding them through the production cycle to foster team success
  • Maintain detailed records and analytics to monitor performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and optimize sales strategies
  • Follow established sales methodologies and best practices, utilizing company tools and sales management platforms to maximize efficiency and transparency

Qualifications

  • Valid state-issued Property and Casualty or Life and Health Insurance Producer License
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or a related field of study
  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in an insurance sales role, with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency with professional software programs including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational abilities to juggle multiple clients and priorities effectively
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Knowledge of personal insurance products including auto, homeowners, umbrella, and related coverage types
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Assertive yet empathetic approach to sales with genuine interest in understanding client needs and providing solutions
