Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Client Manager to join our team in Madison, MS. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, delivering exceptional service and strategic guidance while managing their evolving needs with professionalism and care.   • Serve as the main day-to-day contact for an assigned client portfolio, managing their insurance needs with strong attention to detail and minimal oversight
  • Lead renewal and remarketing initiatives, coordinating with carriers to secure competitive coverage and pricing while providing consultative guidance on coverage gaps and policy structures
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new accounts, including collection, organization, and analysis of underwriting data
  • Troubleshoot complex client issues efficiently by collaborating with underwriters and internal teams to deliver timely resolutions
  • Manage endorsements, claims inquiries, audits, and other service requests with precision and care
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records in AMS360, documenting all servicing activities transparently
  • Support and mentor junior team members as needed, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Stay informed on industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes that impact your clients
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships through responsive communication, empathy, and strategic problem-solving

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in client account management, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Proven ability to manage a book of business and develop strong, lasting client relationships
  • Solid understanding of carrier underwriting guidelines, coverage forms, and insurance products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in AMS360 or comparable agency management systems
  • Active insurance license(s) in applicable lines (P&C and/or L&H) required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative and supportive with team members
  • Customer service excellence and a genuine commitment to client satisfaction
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Preferred: Experience with insurance renewals, underwriting processes, or account management in a professional services setting
