Tripping.com is the world's largest site for vacation rentals. We work with all the top vacation rental sites in the world (AirBnB, VRBO, HomeAway, Booking.com, etc) to offer nearly 12 million vacation properties in over 150,000 destinations worldwide. We’re venture-backed, growing FAST, and having fun making noise in a $100B market.
Tripping.com is looking for a Data Analyst/Data Scientist to join the team!
Tripping is looking for an energetic person to help us take advantage of all of this amazing data! We’re re-tooling the way we collect and analyze data, so we are going to need someone who is capable and creative to help us build out a world class analytics engine. While we have a lot of insights that feed back into the business, we want to aggressively ask and answer questions about how our users navigate our amazing product as well as dig deeper into the vacation rental market.
You’ll have an opportunity to contribute on all levels; creating new insights from scratch as well as work with an already impressive data pipeline. You’ll help us add metrics, add and improve ETL, create and manage dashboards as well as create models to discover and predict how users and vacation rentals will perform. You will have an opportunity to impact our search relevancy, machine learning and natural language processing for sentiment analysis.
As a data company, you’ll interact with all departments; Tripping’s many team members will look to you for help navigating the deep waters and strong currents associated with complex business decisions. Where should we spend money? How do we find the best users? Where do we have the best properties? Where do we need more vacation rental properties? You’ll have the data to answer these questions and many more!
