Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in transitioning into product management. You must have a desire to grow and develop your product management skills. The Associate Product Manager will work on a variety things. Some of it may include prioritizing goals, new feature research, partnering with the marketing team to enhance their acquisition strategies, implementing tracking tools, creating impactful A/B tests, and analyzing site usage data. You will work closely with experienced Product Managers to develop your skills to be a successful Product Manager.
Responsibilities
- Conduct new feature research and competitor analysis to present to the product and business teams.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop features and functionality that enhance their acquisition strategies.
- Support the A/B testing program with brainstorming, analysis, and reporting.
- Manage the development process of features that support the growth of our business.
- Work cross functionally between the product, business development, marketing and engineering teams to ensure clear communication across departments.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years experience in product/growth marketing, program management, engineering or management consulting.
- Capable of listening to stakeholder needs, aligning those needs with the broader company’s goals, and building a plan to address them.
- Likes getting into the details of a problem and looking at all potential outcomes of a decision or product feature, doing competitive analysis and recommending a course of action.
- Love for data. You want to get the data that will help you make a decision. You know how to leverage data to drive growth. You are interested in running multivariate tests. Big plus if you have experience with multivariate testing.
- Strong writing skills. You can communicate your thinking crisply.
- Experience building something. You can demonstrate that you have enough experience in software development to appreciate the challenges engineering faces.
- Detail oriented and always curious.
- A degree in a quantitative field (e.g. math, econ, statistics, etc.) is a plus.
