Description:
The COVID-19 Safety Team will conduct on site oversight to ensure client continues to comply with the guidance and directives for maintaining a clean and safe work environment issued by the Department of Health.

Skills:
• At least 5 years of experience in health / safety industry or department conducting inspections, assessments, remediation and providing appropriate recommendations.
• Ability to use data and metrics to drive decisions and measure performance
• Knowledge in Microsoft Suite
• Presentation Skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communications
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge in housing, health and/or environmental policy is a plus.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Review and approve vendor site safety plans
• Monitor location compliance with New York State Forward requirements by conducting site visits
• Investigate reports of employee COVID infections at locations and provide results of investigations to Program Manager for notification to public health authorities
• Provide support and guidance to locations in order to provide safe and healthy working and living environments
• Prepare reports on the status of COVID-19 Safety Team Oversight activities
• Perform special project tasks, ad-hoc analyses, and prepare relevant reports and presentations as assigned.
