Job Description

  • Ensure the strategy set by the Steering Group or Sponsor is implemented and maintained by the working groups
  • Hold full P&L responsibility for the assigned region (Continental Europe)
  • Develop and maintain a Master Schedule Plan that meets objectives within agreed timeframes
  • Provide weekly and monthly senior management reports for the Steering Group
  • Lobby and build strong relationships with key accounts
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline to meet defined targets
  • Create and maintain a resource plan to ensure delivery and lead times across all territories (leveraging Trexpert)
  • Establish effective meeting structures with clear Purpose, Objectives, and Outcomes (POOs)
  • Train and coach management teams on standard work practices and methodologies, ensuring consistent application
  • Instill operational discipline within the management team
  • Act as the interface between senior management and operational teams
  • Train and coach operational teams on best practices
  • Travel internationally as required

Qualifications

Professional Experience and Skills

  • Experienced senior professional in Tier 1 supplier development and operations
  • Proven track record of managing Tier 1 suppliers through crisis situations
  • Expertise in launch management and product development (APQP)
  • Strategic mindset with strong focus on delivering operational requirements
  • Highly focused and self-disciplined; maintains objectives despite internal distractions
  • Recognized as a focal point for change and an expert in manufacturing excellence
  • Strong ability to engage and influence senior leadership within customer organizations
  • Collaborative leadership style with a team-building approach while ensuring operational effectiveness

Education and Qualifications

  • Recognised degree-level qualification in Engineering, Quality or Operations
  • Ideally holds a Master’s level qualification (e.g. MBA)
  • Certified in LEAN or Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belt level preferred)

Leadership and Experience

  • 10+ years of management experience leading teams in high-pressure, complex situations
  • Demonstrated career progression with a proactive, “can do” attitude
  • Fluent or highly competent in English (oral and written) as a second language

Technical and Operational Skills

  • Skilled in managing key manufacturing disciplines: Quality, Operations, Logistics, Maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards: IATF 16949, AIAG, VDA etc.
  • Financially literate: budget creation, cost tracking, and identifying savings opportunities
  • Deep understanding of Stellantis and Ford OEM requirements (VW and others are a plus)
  • Flexible and adaptive approach without compromising core objectives
  • Able to represent TRIGO professionally at senior and executive levels (ambassadorial role)
  • Culturally aware with proven experience operating effectively in diverse geographic regions
