Role: Business Analyst 

📍 Location: New Haven, CT
🏢 Mode: Onsite - Only local candidates 

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain WINS Policy Admin files and WC policy data.

• Perform SQL-based data queries and support data analysis across systems.

• Work with AS400 commands for system navigation and troubleshooting.

• Support regulatory reporting by mapping policy data (hard copy to WCPOLS files).

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve WCPOLS production issues (system abends, rating bureau fines, etc.).

• Document data flow, process mapping, and system integrations within WINS.

• Collaborate with teams using Waterfall methodology for requirements gathering and solution delivery.

• Contribute to earned premium calculations and policy rating analysis.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with WINS system and WC policy administration.

• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of AS400 commands.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

• Understanding of policy rating algorithms and premium calculation methods.

• Knowledge of data flow, integration, and process mapping in insurance systems.
