Travel Requirements: 70-90% travel

Are you passionate about clinical leadership, hands-on training, and fostering relationships in the healthcare industry? Treace is seeking a Clinical Innovation Manager to drive clinical excellence, training initiatives, and growth objectives while working across cross-functional teams and with healthcare professionals.

As the Clinical Innovation Manager, you will lead regional operations to ensure the safe and effective application of Treace's products during training and educational labs. This role is essential in supporting healthcare professionals (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs), and the sales team by creating lasting impact and ensuring high-quality patient care is maintained.

Clinical Leadership - Build trust-based relationships with surgeons by delivering constructive feedback, identifying educational opportunities, and guiding them in adopting best practices.

Training Development - Create and maintain training materials for clinical innovation specialists, sales representatives, and leadership. Ensure content is updated to reflect the latest business/product developments and technical changes.

Case Oversight & Support - Deliver real-time support during surgeries and provide technical guidance to ensure optimal application of Treace’s products. Conduct performance evaluations and convey training effectiveness.

Educational Leadership - Plan and execute surgeon training programs, including didactic and cadaveric sessions. Oversee trainee selection and qualification to maintain high standards.

Customer & Sales Engagement - Serve as a resource for technical/product inquiries and sales team support. Guide surgical protocols and techniques while fostering long-term relationships with sales representatives and healthcare providers.

Metrics & Strategy - Analyze post-education outcomes to measure training effectiveness and alignment with growth objectives. Provide feedback to cross-functional teams like Product Management and Engineering for continuous improvement.

Event Participation - Represent Treace at local, regional, and national events/tradeshows, building strong connections with KOLs, HCPs, and the sales team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, science or closely related field is preferred; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, may be considered in lieu of a degree. 

  • Six (6+) years of successful clinical or product specialist or field sales experience with a surgical implant company (preferred foot and ankle experience), or 3+ years as a member of an Operating Room surgical team (RN or PA). (Sr. level role requires 8+ years’ experience). 

  • Previous leadership required 

  • Previous operating room experience is required. 

  • Must be able to travel up to 70-90%, with some weekends required.
