Job Description

As the Sr. Compliance Specialist, you will support the Legal and Compliance teams in the implementation, execution, and operation of the Company’s compliance program. The position will oversee efforts to make the organization compliant with applicable policies, regulations, and best practices to ensure that the company operates in compliance with Treace Policies and applicable healthcare laws. You will partner with key stakeholders and serve as a resource to address business and compliance issues as they arise and support the Compliance team with a variety of compliance initiatives.

What you will be responsible for:

Risk Assessment and Monitoring:

  • Assess potential compliance risks across various business functions. 
  • Implement compliance monitoring plans to detect potential issues. 
  • Conduct periodic compliance audits and reviews to ensure adherence to regulations. 
  • Analyze compliance issues and provide solutions on regulatory, contractual, and compliance issues.
  • Creating smooth cross functional communication channels about ethics and compliance issues and solutions

Policy Development and Implementation:

  • Draft and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures. 
  • Monitoring and reviewing organizational procedures and policies to update compliance requirements.
  • Ensure policies are clearly communicated and understood by employees at all levels. 
  • Facilitate training programs to educate staff on compliance requirements. 

Investigations and Issue Resolution:

  • Investigate potential compliance violations and concerns raised by employees or stakeholders. 
  • Conduct thorough analysis of findings and recommend corrective actions. 
  • Document and report investigation results to relevant parties. 

 

Compliance Reporting and Communication:

  • Prepare regular compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies. 
  • Communicate compliance updates and key information to relevant teams. 
  • Provide guidance and support to business units on compliance matters.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance across the organization. 
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including legal counsel, internal audit, and regulatory agencies. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in healthcare administration, public health, accounting, economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant healthcare compliance experience, developing and implementing programs and/or audit activities
  • Preferring experience in the medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry
  • Additional certification in Ethics and Compliance is preferred.
