Job Profile

The Sales/Operations Analyst for Travelstride will be responsible for ensuring partner success by providing data analysis, reporting, and feedback to help partners grow their accounts on the travel marketplace. The successful candidate will be a data-driven and analytical individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners. This role will also require content creation, merchandising content, conversion tracking, and customer success management.

Primary Goals and Objectives

  • Provide partner success by ensuring clean data is applied into proper reporting for partners to see results, giving transparency, and more accuracy with invoicing.
  • Once familiar w/ accounts and positions, meet with partners to discuss growing their accounts based on data-centric analysis of their products results on the marketplace.
  • Create content such as Partner Profiles, Description, Trips, Editorial Reviews, and What we love about them, What they are known for, and Travelstride Take on the partner.
  • Tweak accounts to help merchandise partner webpages, identify "true" best seller products, and manage high-traffic pages.
  • Oversee key accounts to ensure travelers and partners are connected and communicating clearly
  • Ensure reports and results are clearly communicated with partners and take action on partner feedback to improve the product and ensure partners feel valued.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product to ensure data accuracy, availability, and completeness.
  • Managing accuracy and timely invoicing and revenue collection for all partners.
  • Analyze partner data to identify trends and opportunities to grow their accounts and revenue.
  • Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to partners to help them optimize their travel products on the marketplace.
  • Work with partners to create and manage content that showcases their unique travel offerings, promotes their brand, and increases exposure.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify high-traffic pages, best-selling products, and other opportunities to increase exposure and drive revenue.
  • Ensure partners are using best practices to maximize revenue generation and conversion of leads into bookings.
  • Proactively monitor key accounts to ensure travelers and partner partners are communicating clearly, and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Provide regular reports to partners on their performance on the marketplace and ensure they are aware of their progress towards their goals.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify areas where Travelstride can improve the product and ensure that partner feedback is taken into account in product development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, operations, or sales support
  • Looker Studio, Twilio Segement, Tableau, or other data visualization software
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw insights
  • Excellent communication skills w/ an ability to build relationships with partners
  • Experience with CRM and other reporting tools for data control and visualization
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus, only if growth-centered accounts

Your success will depend on your ability to carry out responsibilities with expectations met. To ensure success in this role, the Sales/Operations Analyst should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience in using productivity tools and Google Analytics, and a strong understanding of data-driven decision making. They should be able to work independently and have a strong work ethic, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with partners. Time management and organization skills are also important to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Extremely detail-oriented, capable of time-boxing and project management
  • Be comfortable attending weekly/monthly meetings in CST time zone
  • Handle stressful situations, this is a startup so what you build is foundational

Location and Work Hours.
Travelstride’s main office is in Austin, Texas. We have team members spanning the globe. This position is flexible- the right candidate can work in the office in Austin or remote. The candidate absolutely must be comfortable with working on a US schedule, and also be willing to take client calls outside of normal working hours.
