Job Description

The Creative Services Designer will use their expertise in design, marketing and project coordination to uphold brand standards while creating and delivering effective sales and marketing collateral. The primary responsibilities for this role include (1) Focus on the creative needs for the Sales & Business Development team, (2) proactively design, develop and execute creative assets for Sales and Business Development (sales presentations, events, partner marketing print and digital campaigns) to ensure a consistent look and feel, (3) collaboratively work with designers, editorial staff and Sales and Business Development Team and across other internal departments, to ensure creative content is on brand, comprehensive, and furthers the goals of sales, (4) reviewing, refining and coordinating with external partners and vendors in delivering printed and digital collateral (e.g. invites, banners, brochures, logos, sales sheets, etc.) (5) overseeing the creative execution for consumer events and trade show exhibits.

In this role you must possess the ability to communicate information and data effectively with the use of images, videos, animated builds, and the creation of easy to understand charts and graphs. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and ability to drive a project forward, anticipate needs, facilitate communication and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. An ability to work with a high level of personal accountability, operate in a fast-moving and often ambiguous environment, strong attention to detail, proactive communication and willingness to put in the time and effort to deliver an exceptional end product is essential. Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines and personalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, execute and manage all Business Development (BD) & Sales materials, printed collateral and UK digital campaigns
  • Collaborate to create the Sales and Business Development asset toolkit
  • Maintain the workflow of creative and marketing needs for our Business Development team
  • Oversee and develop the visual aesthetic and marketing message of TCS World Travel to be shared with our partners and at industry events
  • Work with the Art Director and creative team to create visually appealing collateral that is aligned with the TCS brand
  • Manage all aspects of the creative process from conception to completion for Sales & Business Development teams - events, print and digital
  • Coordinate with external partners and vendors as needed when delivering digital creative assets (e.g. brochure files, artwork, logos, sales sheets, etc.)
  • Provide creative feedback to partners by reviewing and giving the final sign off to ensure brand standards
  • Proactively develop and review sales presentations and collateral to ensure a consistent look and feel
  • If business needs require, assist the Marketing team with in-house design work  

Qualifications

 

  • Formal design education, training or experience required
  • Experience and knowledge working in a marketing and sales-oriented environment
  • Experience designing sales presentations, event invitations and other marketing collateral
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat.
  • Expert knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Ability to translate sales business requirements into creative deliverables
  • Knowledge of principles of design, including: layout, typography, color, balance, composition and current design trends
  • Able to manage and proactively report on status of all projects, both past and present
  • Able to recognize and attend to multiple important details with accuracy and efficiency
  • Aptitude to work constructively under stress in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to learn from and handle critiques
  • Must be able to take direction and feedback to conceptualize, design, and organize marketing and sales projects independently when needed
  • Consistently apply and enforce style/brand guidelines
  • Detail oriented with excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with production requirements and working with outside vendors, i.e. printers, exhibit vendors, other agencies
  • Ability to manage influxes of emails in an organized and professional manner
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be able to work on Mac-based computer
  • Working with various graphic formats for print and web, knowledge of optimal format to use based on the particular application
