Job Description

TCS World Travel is hiring a Custom Travel Coordinator. This is an additional position, which has been added to Luxury Custom Travel team during a period of high growth.  

The Custom Travel Coordinator is responsible for general team support. Responsibilities include creating and sending trip itineraries, ad-hoc projects including system and process changes, managing supplies and amenities, assisting with reporting and lead distribution, expense reports and other administrative duties. Our ideal candidate has 2+ years of general office and clerical, or administrative support experience. We are seeking a team player who is willing to jump in when needed and who is willing to think creatively to resolve issues and get things done.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support for the team including travel bookings, filing, data entry, assembling, collating, and managing mailings and packages, completing expense reports, managing office supplies and materials as well as internal calendars.
  • Conduct destination research through web-based tools and internal tools and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Manage leads and partner companies through Salesforce and other systems.
  • Support client communications, including via email and phone, for travel documents, payments and surveys.
  • Assist travel consultants with trip itinerary development and other travel related documents for review, printing and sending.
  • Assist in marketing programs through reporting and materials gathering.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years administrative support, clerical or general office experience is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and well-developed clerical, organizational, and office skills.
  • Must have worked in an environment where multi-tasking is routine and have demonstrated an ability to remain effective with shifting priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Previous experience working with high-end clientele preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of or experience in the travel industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook programs.
  • Salesforce, Publisher, InDesign and Adobe Suite experience is a plus.
  • Passion for travel is a must.
