Job Description

 

  1. Concept development and implementation: assist event & brand activation lead in concept development and spearhead in implementation efforts of event & brand activation projects.

  2. Project management – supervise third parties and work with internal creative team and relevant internal stakeholders / teams (e.g product marketing, business intelligence, management) in ensuring timely delivery of each project / content output. Asses and detect early signs of third party misalignment, potential problems and take lead / action to ensure minimum deviation from initial plan.

  3. Stakeholder management:

    • External stakeholders: create collaborative environment by building relationship, understanding and motivating external parties in delivering projects – at the same time able to drive and take firm stand to external parties when necessary.

    • Internal stakeholders: effectively communicate project updates (in detail when necessary) of creative development / production process and gather feedback and input from relevant stakeholders.

    • Assist Event & Brand Activation lead in making strategic decision by providing expertise and field knowledge based on data and experience.

  4. Quality control: Ensure quality of production (booth, printing and merchandising) is at highest quality. Ensure each event and branding details are optimized without reducing brand consistency and risking timely delivery.

  5. Cost optimization and policy compliance: ensure efficiency of event and branding related budget through line-by-line detailed cost review and effective negotiation. Maximize event and branding ROI without jeopardizing quality of output. Work with relevant stakeholders in ensuring compliance to procurement policy.

 

Qualifications

 

  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications or relevant field graduated from reputable university.

  • Min. 3 year experience in event & brand activation (venue management, production and activation) production. Preferably as event & brand activation lead in TMT (Telecommunication, Media and Technology) industry with experience supervising in-mall and exhibitions. Candidates with experience in event organizers are also welcome to apply.

  • Knowledgeable in details of event and branding cost components (venue, production and activation) and experience in effective negotiation with third party.

  • Experience in working independently, able to develop and provide clear direction to third parties. Understanding of brand is a must, able to follow brand guideline and ensure correct brand implementation to event materials.

  • Able to review event related creative outputs (e.g booth, merchandising design) with high attention to detail and provide clear feedback that are likely to lead to improve aesthetics quality of output without adversely impacting functionality and budget. Good visual communication fundamental and design intuition is a plus

  • Multitasking, self-driven, able to juggle multiple projects and other responsibilities and at the same time able to clearly prioritize / effectively delegate tasks. Able to perform under pressure and ambiguity.

  • Comfortable working in flexible working hours condition and occasional traveling.
