As a member of our team, you’ll design, develop, and test software that runs on Digital Reef’s highly scalable grid computing platform.

Our industry leading product enables our customers to process large volumes of unstructured electronic data.

This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize many advanced technologies while providing solutions to challenging problems in the area of Big Data. Core product development

You’ll report directly to the Director of Software Engineering within Digital Reef.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust and scalable software that runs within our analytic tier. This includes: importing and exporting data, searching indexes, generating reports, and performing various advanced analytic functions.

• Participate in our Agile development process.

• Write functional and design specifications.

• Participate in design reviews and code audits.

• Perform unit and system level testing.

• Utilize source control management and bug tracking tools.

• Assist customer support activities.

Qualifications

• BS in CS, EE or related field

• Experience developing Java

• Object oriented development skills

• Strong written and verbal communications skills

Plus/Nice to have:

• C++

• Linux

• SQL

• Knowledge of networking and storage systems

• Index and search technologies
