Job Description
As a CNA, you will be providing patient care & supporting the nursing staff for our patients.
We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care to patients, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). You will assist with daily living activities, maintain patient hygiene, help with mobility, and provide support to nursing staff to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities: You will provide essential support by assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting. They will help patients with mobility, positioning, and transferring, ensuring their comfort and safety. They will monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team. They will assist in the delivery of patient meals, ensuring that patients are able to eat comfortably, and help with feeding when necessary. They will also maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring patient rooms are tidy and stocked with necessary supplies. Additionally, you will assist with repositioning patients to prevent bedsores and provide emotional support to patients and families as needed. Adhering to infection control procedures and patient privacy regulations is also a critical responsibility.
Shifts available: PMs (2:45pm-11pm)
Openings: Part time 2-3 days per week, with every other weekend rotation
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, move, and assist patients as needed.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
