We have the perfect position for you - a temporary job in a learning environment.

• Start Date: on 5/7/24 or 5/21/24 (earlier dates are available if you are)
  • Minimum Duration:  5/21/24-8/03/24 (a 10+-week commitment)
• Schedule: 3 - 5 shifts per week (including, an every other weekend rotation)
• Shift: PM shift (3pm-11pm) and/or Overnights (11pm-7am)
• Salary: $22-$23.50/hr, based on experience
  • Bonus $$:  stay thru 8/03/24 and receive a $500 completion bonus

Joliet Terrace is a 120 bed Intermediate Care Facility (ICF), providing care to the mentally ill/behavior health population (schizophrenic, bipolar, major depression…).  Located in a quiet suburban neighborhood, we are easy to commute to and have a stable team.  What makes us unique:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

As an RN or LPN Student Nurse, this would be an excellent opportunity to work in learning environment. Sharpen your Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) skills while working side by side with some talented nurses and clinicians.

Duration:  This is a 10-week summer position; mid-May thru mid-August.  If you want to stay with us as a PRN employee after 8/03/24, you can.  You’ll then be expected to pick up shifts during your future holiday or semester breaks.

What you will need: 

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification - specifically for the state of IL
• Currently enrolled in a Nurse Education Program (Associates or Bachelor’s level)
• Ability to remain calm and smile during challenging situations
• You must start on or before 5/21/24 and commit to stay thru 8/03/23 (10 weeks)

This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT.  We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
