Business Office Manager - Medicaid / Medicare Billing Specialist (Skilled Nursing Facility)

About the facility:

Under new leadership:  Transitional Care Management (TCM) now manages this Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) as of 9/1/2019.  Our goal is a focus on quality care and excellent customer service for the staff & the patients alike.  While we have many team members that have been with the center for several years, we are expanding.

Community Care Terrace has 204 beds with multiple levels of care, including a large behavioral patient population (ages 21 and up) within the center. 

Location:  We are located in the Bronzeville neighborhood, across the street from the ‘IL Inst. of Technology’; near W 43 ST & State Street, just off 90/94 - very easy to commute to.

Business Office Manager (BOM)  sometimes called an Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist or Bookkeeper in a Skilled Nursing Facility

• Start Date: ASAP
• Salary: starting salary based on prior experience
• Full Time opening available:  Includes full benefit package

About the position:

You will work closely with facility and regional accounts receivables team.  The AR projects will include back-end collections and billing for Public Aide, Medicaid, Medicare and managed care accounts for our skilled nursing facility. 

What we need from you:

• Must possess a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) with a specific focus on collections and outstanding receivables
• Experience with Public Aide/Medicaid and Medicare billing and collections is a must
• Point Click Care (PCC) billing system experience preferred

Other centers may title this as accounts receivable, AR, A/R, business office manager, or a BOM position.
