Job Description
In collaboration with the manager of the Business Systems team, the incumbent supports internal teams in optimizing the use of core business systems and ensuring data integrity throughout the processing chain.
Responsibilities
- Implement operational performance measures (volumetrics, performance, success and rejection rates) and analyze resulting data.
- Identify, document, and trace anomalies across the end-to-end commercial activity processing chain.
- Assess the root causes of issues, summarize findings, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and automation.
- Act as liaison between IT teams and users to validate that proposed solutions are operationally sound.
- Support implementation activities, help integrate changes within teams, and collaborate closely with business system experts.
- Contribute to writing and updating procedures and support knowledge transfer to trainers and user communities.
- Develop test plans and supervise UAT testing with key users and IT partners
Qualifications
- College diploma in Tourism.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the leisure travel industry or in a call center environment.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.
- Good understanding of the tour operator and airline business model.
- Knowledge of Transat’s technology ecosystem, including systems such as Datalex, Radixx, TTS, and Salesforce.
- Strong teamwork abilities, patience, and active listening skills.
- Excellent command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and demonstrated ease with digital collaboration tools and AI.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Oral and written fluency in French and English*
- *A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
