Job Description
The Specialist, System and Galley Planning, is responsible for managing, optimizing, and evolving digital tools related to galley planning, while supporting loading operations in coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and strategic partners.
- Administer and configure galley planning tools.
- Coordinate changes and configurations with field teams and suppliers.
- Document and maintain up-to-date loading standards by aircraft type, flight type, service, and destination.
- Support the integration of new stations or onboard services (e.g. cabins, seasonal station launches).
- Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of system enhancements.
- Act as a super-user and main point of contact for issues related to loading systems.
- Collaborate with team supervisors on quality audits and ensure operational compliance of loading plans.
- Contribute to technological monitoring and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- College diploma in administration or IT or similar field;
- 5 to 8 years of experience in airline operations / catering environment;
- Knowledge of galley planning system software is an asset;
- Familiarity with MRP, SAP, Raddix, etc., is an asset;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word);
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Excellent analytical skills and sense of priorities;
- Initiative and adaptability;
- Attention to detail and precision;
- Oral and written fluency in French and English *
*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
