Job Description
The Coordinator, Passenger Support Services is part of the multidisciplinary team of the Operations Control Center. The incumbent acts as liaison between the various operational departments of the airline with respect to flight information. During irregular operations, the Coordinator contributes to the coordination of different actions related to passenger service, in order to maintain a high level of security and operational efficiency. Thanks to his extensive knowledge of Transport Canada regulations, the incumbent ensures compliance with Air Transat’s internal policies and procedures to ensure an excellent level of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all activities related to airport operations.
- Distribute information on flights to all our business partners.
- Communicate the guidelines to be followed during irregular operations to the responsible persons.
- Document and produce all operational reports.
- Support stations for questions related to Air Transat’s policies and procedures
- All other related administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the operations of an airline.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate while multi-tasking and to adapt.
- Good organizational skills, autonomous, resourceful.
- Available to work on rotation including weekends (12-hour shift, day, evening, night).
- Excellent knowledge of French and English (verbal and written).*
- Knowledge of Spanish (an asset).
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office.
- Knowledge of the AIMS software (an asset).
Additional Information
*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
