Job Description
The Process Auditor verifies the airworthiness, safety, internal policy and procedures, in accordance with manufacturer’s and Canadian Aviation Regulations’ best practices and Company standards. The Process Auditor also certifies the airworthiness of the various aircraft.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct internal, external, scheduled and non-scheduled audits, as assigned;
- Ensure that deficiencies found during an audit that contravene Company policy and procedures or Canadian Aviation Regulations are immediately reported;
- Pursue corrective actions in conformity with the internal process;
- Provide guidance on prevention of reoccurrence of deficiencies found during audits;
- Maintain records of all audits;
- Assume other duties as necessary;
- Available to travel 8 to 10 times a year
Qualifications
- College Diploma in aircraft maintenance
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license, on company aircraft
- Minimum of five (5) years experience as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in auditing, an asset
- Proven leadership qualities
- Excellent communication skills in both official languages (French / English), oral and written
- Solid problem-solving skills
