Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Analysis and and Optimization, the financial analyst will gather all the necessary elements to produce results and analyzes related to aircraft maintenance . The analyst will participate in the analysis and implementation of new business processes, while ensuring that financial information is adequately recorded.

  • Participate in the production of the financial results as well as the monthly, quarterly and annually analyzes of Air Transat's maintenance results in compliance with IFRS standards;           
  • Be in contact with lessors for the monthly usage of major components and other suppliers for various contracts;
  • Support the manager in budget planning and financial forecasting;
  • Carry out various operational analyzes and provide support to operational management;
  • Participate in process optimization;
  • Support the Chief Accountant in all external and internal audits;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience
  • Experience in large corporations and aviation an asset
  • Good knowledge of IFRS
  • Excellent command of Office suite tools;
  • Autonomous and able to adapt to a constantly changing environment;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail;
  • Good team spirit;
  • Bilingual (written and spoken)
