Job Description
As the Coordinator, Fatigue Risk Management System, you will be actively participating in the development and implementation of the Air Transat FRMS (Fatigue Risk Management System). The goal is to implement a fatigue management system that allow the reduction of the risks associated with crew fatigue, while improving their well-being and increasing the operational flexibility.

Main responsibilities
- Ensures that Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS), within the framework of the Air Transat Safety Management System (SMS), meets the requirements of Transport Canada and the good industry practices.
- Develop, maintain and update FRMS procedures ;
- Develop and share Fatigue KPI (Key Performance Indicators (KPI);
- Manage the Fatigue software as principal administrator.
- Serve as an active member of the Fatigue Safety Action Groups for pilots and flight attendants;
- Manage all aspects of the fatigue-reporting cycle, including risk assessment, investigation, recommendations, and follow-up actions;
- Provide suitable acknowledgement and feedback to employees reporting fatigue-related incidents;
- Support the Safety Officers in incident investigations where fatigue may be a contributing factor;
- Analyze crew-scheduling data and provide recommendations;
- Prepare communications, develop and/or organize training in fatigue science, fatigue factors and mitigation measures to increase the knowledge of the involved groups of employees
- Perform analysis to support fatigue-related safety cases;
- Assist the Director, Flight Safety, as necessary.
Qualifications
- University Diploma in a related field such as Medical/Health Sciences, Psychology, Aviation Management, Human Factors; or equivalent experience;
- Experience in aviation an asset;
- Three to Five years of related experience;
- Knowledge of fatigue modelling software an asset;
- Strong analytical and statistical abilities;
- Oral and written proficiency in both French and EnglishComputer proficiency: MS Excel, Word, Power point, and Outlook;
- Strong communication skills;
- Ability to work independently.
