Job Description

Aerospace painters are masters at handling spray guns and applying paint, enamel, lacquer, or other coatings. They are responsible for making their paint mixes, making sure to clean, wash, strip, sand, fill the holes or prepare the parts before painting them

• Preparing parts and applying paints

• Ensure that the procedures used comply with Transport Canada standards

   as well as the guidelines of the company

• Check the inventory and expiry dates of products used in the paint shop

• Maintain the equipment associated with the sandblasting workshop(s)

• Painting (e.g., replacement of filters, maintenance of paint guns)     

• Comply with health and safety and environmental standards

• Perform other related tasks, as needed

Qualifications

• Position of structural technician or interior mechanic

• Relevant experience as a painter in Air Transat facilities or having

  demonstrated any experience as a painter (projects performed)

• Minimum of 3 years of experience

• Conscientious and meticulous, precision, autonomy, reliability, and creativity
