Job Description

Reporting to the supervisor of Training Designer, the incumbent will play a strategic role in the development of training materials for Transat’s internal and external clients. The incumbent’s main responsibilities will be to use different approaches to build learning modules on various industry related topics and to produce all training materials using various technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and structure content;
  • Research and develop online and in-class training strategies ;
  • Prioritize content and ensure it meets the set objectives ;
  • Deliver creative and innovative ideas ;
  • Draft teaching scenarios, training content, and assessments according to interactive and technical specifications ;
  • Work with the subject-matter experts during the course development and review process ;
  • Upload materials to the LMS platform and keep it up to date ;
  • Ensure the quality and effectiveness of all tools and training ;
  • Maintain existing training materials ;
  • Maintain all work tools ;
  • Establish core training materials and create specific online modules ;
  • Carry out various tasks related to the company's environment and needs.

Qualifications

  • Writing skills in French and English (mandatory) ;
  • Proficiency in French syntax, grammar, and spelling ;
  • Aptitude for finding information and analyzing needs in both French and English;
  • Experience with the following tools (an asset): Microsoft Office; Articulate 360; Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Audition, and Presenter; and Final Cut Pro;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to gain the cooperation of others;
  • Ability to multitask;
  • Attention to detail, curiosity, and creativity;
  • Exceptional resourcefulness;
