A well renowned IB School in Visakhapatnam is seeking IB MYP English Facilitators.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Identify and adopt the most effective active, creative teaching approaches for all students in line with current best practice and the ethos of the school.
• Plan, develop and implement high quality lessons within the broad, balanced and differentiated mathematics curriculum using a variety of approaches.
• Collaborate closely with the entire academic team to ensure effectiveness of the delivery of teaching and learning programmes.
• Monitor, assess and report on learners’ work and progress, in accordance with the school’s policy on assessment and reporting.
• Regularly communicate with parents and students on student learning progress and adhere to school procedures for assessment and reporting.
• Contribute to the development of curriculum, ensuring both diversity and inclusivity are incorporated to student learning experiences.
• Contribute to the effective use of subject resources, including evaluation of new materials and equipment.
• Audit of resources and identify the most relevant resources to ensure the MYP English programme allows for the progression of skills and disciplinary knowledge in the MYP.
• Incorporate various forms of technology within the classroom.
• Establish and maintain a safe, secure and healthy student-centred environment that is conducive to learning.
• Participate in all professional development workshops organized by the school and implement necessary strategies to improve student learning.

Requirements:

• Qualification: Graduate/ PG in subject, Relevant Certification in IB is desirable
• Experience: Relevant teaching experience in IB Curriculum in MYP
• Excellent communication Skills
