Job Description

Reporting into the Brand Director of UK & Global Effectiveness, the Effectiveness Lead is a new role for Trainline, responsible for leading media effectiveness across all markets (UK, IT, ES, FR, US). You will be working hand-in-hand with Senior Brand Managers (SBMs) in their respective markets, with our in-house data science team (EDS) and with our media agency, Wavemaker, to design and execute a learning roadmap across all markets, including how we can optimise our creative. 

 

 

  • You will own the learning roadmap across all markets, enabling cross market and cross channel learning  

  • You will be responsible for designing tests campaigns, working closely with EDS, Wavemaker and SBMs 

  • You will develop and build a brand playbook, collaborating across teams to develop learnings and levers that drive efficiency 

  • You will work closely with brand insights to understand the link between brand metrics and business metrics 

  • You will work closely with Wavemaker and others to implement planning tools to drive efficiency 

  • You will work with brand insights and Wavemaker to develop hypotheses for testing that will drive efficiency 

  • You will work closely with finance, EDS and brand directors to communicate and implement learnings 

  • You will work closely with our in-house studio team to gain learnings on our creative performance, and work with them to optimise  

  • End to end project management, from insight through to execution, measurement, and reporting 

  • Ensuring the brand, customer and proposition is front of mind throughout the whole process 

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of measurement across a wide range of offline and online media channels, including attribution, MMM models and understanding of regression analysis 

  • Experience working in or with a tech related industry, ideally within ecommerce 

  • Confident managing multiple stakeholders, providing clear communication, direction, and support 

  • Experience working in or closely with media agencies 

  • Strong analytical skills; able to develop hypotheses, insight briefs and interpret data to aid decision making 

  • Experience managing external partners or agencies 

  • Able to challenge and influence at a senior level, regularly communicating to seek alignment across teams 

  • Strong familiarity with both brand and performance KPIs  

  • Experience working with other markets (FR, IT, DE, ES, US) a plus
