Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate mobile marketer who has proven experience delivering best-in-class campaigns. You thrive in a forward thinking and collaborative environment, where your commercial outlook enables you to continually identify opportunities to scale app user acquisition. 
 
The ideal candidate will be proactive and inquisitive, with a good balance of analytical and creative skills. They will know what motivates customers to choose Trainline and will make informed decisions based on data. The ideal candidate is organised, with high standards and attention to detail, they will need to be able to follow and develop new processes. 

 

The Senior Mobile Marketing Manager will be responsible and accountable for the performance of app user acquisition across several key markets. Working with internal teams, including cross-functional missions & the creative studio, is critical to the success of this role. 

 
Key Responsibilities 

  • Responsible and accountable for budget management and optimisation towards commercial targets for paid app acquisition channels in multiple European markets.  

  • Work in close collaboration with other marketing channels, as well as legal, product and analytics teams.  

  • Manage collaboration and ideate on creative testing opportunities with the internal creative studio to deliver world-class performance marketing creative. 

  • Build and prioritise a backlog filled with hypotheses on how to scale and improve cost-efficiency for key app acquisition channels including Google App Campaigns, Meta, Snapchat and TikTok.  

  • Regularly communicate updates to stakeholders across Growth, Performance Marketing and Finance. 

  • Stay abreast of industry updates, escalating key developments.   

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience 

  • Excellent understanding of mobile user acquisition partners including Google App Campaigns, Snapchat, Meta, TikTok and Apple Search Ads.  

  • Good awareness and technical understanding of recent developments in mobile measurement, including SKAdNetwork and the Android Privacy Sandbox. 

  • Good understanding of key performance metrics including cohort-based metrics like LTV and ROAS.  

  • Strong knowledge of mobile attribution and experience using at least one mobile measurement partner (Appsflyer, Singular, Branch, Adjust, Kochava).  

  • Experience building automated reports with data analytics tools such as Looker or Tableau.  

  • Experience managing and coaching direct reports. 

 
Bonus Skills & Experience 

  • Fluency in French, Italian or Spanish 

  • Experience running incrementality tests. 

  • Experience using SQL. 

  • Experience developing creative processes.
