Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Workplace Experience with responsibility for our Global Real Estate portfolio. Headquartered in the heart of London, Trainline also has offices in Paris, Milan, Edinburgh and most recently Barcelona, supporting more than 1000 team members. (and growing).

The Workplace team is made up of a mix of in-house team members and outsourced contracts covering the full range of hard and soft facilities management - both the delivery of services that includes reception, cleaning, catering, maintenance, health & safety, security, risk management and compliance, as well as the more experiential side of creating physical workspaces that are enjoyable to work in, inclusive, engaging and enable high levels of performance. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy: establishing a European location strategy in line with business needs, working closely with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to execute
  • Stakeholder engagement: developing positive relationships with the local leadership teams to understand business requirements and deliver on their needs
  • Sustainability: bringing our green purpose to life and moving us closer to our net-zero targets across our workplaces
  • Leadership: leading and developing a world-class Workplace team – with a focus on business goals and delivering exemplary service 
  • Employee Experience: creating optimised workplace environments that compliment new hybrid ways of working, bringing people together and ensuring our offices are safe, productive and engaging
  • Compliance: accountability for maintaining statutory standards and understanding the associated environmental and occupational risks and liabilities
  • Data & reporting: reporting performance metrics to monitor usage, productivity and satisfaction of Trainliners
  • Finance: managing the operational budget, including monthly analysis and forecasting

Qualifications

  • International Workplace management experience in a multi-site, multi-country role with sites of at least 500 people 
  • Previous experience in leading a Global Workplace team
  • Be willing to travel internationally (as required)
