TrafficCast International, a leader in the provision of digital traffic data, is seeking a Traffic Data Editor to support our Traffic Operations Center in Middleton, Wisconsin. Using cutting-edge technology, you'll be curating traffic incidents and construction records across the US and Canada. The applicant must have a high school diploma, or equivalent, with experience in using the Internet and mapping applications such as Google Maps. Applicants should also have some basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office, and be able to multitask in order to monitor different web-based traffic sources.
We are currently hiring for a part-time morning shift: 5 or 6am until 10 or 11am, M-F, for a total of 20-30 hours per week. Weekend hours are also available. This entry-level position starts as part-time with the potential to grow into a full-time position with full benefits. A strong candidate will be local to the Madison/Middleton area and have experience with data entry and map navigation. Candidates from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
Desired Skills:
· Strong computer skills
· Proficient use with Microsoft Windows and Office
· Proficient use of Google Chrome web browser and Google Maps
· Strong communication skills, verbally and written
· Multitasking and attention to detail
· Flexible schedule: ability to work days, nights, and/or weekends
Education and/or Experience:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Prior help desk experience is preferred
