Job Description

About The Role

 

The Finance Business Partner is responsible for supporting the analysis and insights for various Tradeshift Business Units including financial shaping and forecasting, reporting, and insights generation. This individual will be responsible for partnering cross-functionally within a fast-moving technology company and its senior management to build annual budgets, manage forecasts, and provide decision support through financial analyses to ensure optimal returns on strategic investments. This is a key position serving as the primary point of contact into Finance for one or more of our Business Units. This role will be fully remote.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Act as the primary Finance Business Partner to our Sales and Marketing leaders
  • Drive the annual budgeting processes and weekly/monthly forecasting activities in conjunction with various leadership teams
  • Improve financial performance by evaluating processes to drive cost-efficiencies and follow ROI on various programs
  • Track, and analyze financial KPIs, uncover trends and assess business risks and opportunities to provide recommendations to senior leaders
  • Ensure organizational accountability through performance management of operating expenses and investments to support productivity initiatives
  • Prepare succinct and clear executive presentations that simplify complex topics and are often time-sensitive

Let’s Connect If You…

 

  • 5+ years of progressive financial experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent work experiences
  • Knowledge of financial accounting, US GAAP desirable 
  • ERP (Netsuite) and EPM (Workday Adaptive Planning) desirable 
  • Experience in accounting period close and financial analysis, financial statements
  • Ability to work in various financial system and processes
  • A passion for driving efficiency/effectiveness through deep dive analytics
