About The Role

Tradeshift is looking for an outstanding Director of Product Management to join our Marketplaces product team in Bucharest, Romania. You will be a key member of an international, cross-functional and self-driven product team that includes engineers, designers, user researchers and product managers.

We expect you to enjoy engaging with customers and users directly to ensure your product’s roadmap is aligned with their needs, including defining and analysing metrics to support decisions made. And we expect that you understand how your technical solutions contribute to realizing a broader vision, and that you have a passion for interacting with many different people to achieve a goal.

You should have a passion for designing innovative solutions in collaboration with different internal stakeholders such as Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, Customer Value Management, Sales, Legal, On-boarding and Professional Services.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Define a product vision and strategy which considers and balances partner, customer, prospect and internal stakeholder needs and positions Tradeshift SaaS solution as a leader in the B2B marketplace space

• Partner with Engineering and EX/UI teams to drive world class execution of the product roadmap

• Leverage leading technology, including Tradeshift’s microservice architecture, machine learning, digital collaboration and interoperability

• Lead and mentor a successful team of product managers directly reporting to you

• Meet with customers and partners  to communicate the product vision, understand their needs, and mitigate escalations

• Act as a consultative subject matter expert to the business

• Manage product development through all stages of the product life cycle

• Through data driven insights, evaluate and communicate effectiveness of features released and make follow up recommendations

• 10+ years of combined Enterprise SaaS product management and B2B supply chain experience

• In-depth understanding of B2B marketplaces and/or procurement processes

• Knowledge of product catalog management, product discovery, approval workflow technology

• A track record of growing new products and enabling cross-functional teams to build operational excellence

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable balancing resources and priorities according to market conditions

• Prior experiencing managing teams

• MBA, Master Degree in Business, BS in Engineering or Finance or equivalent
