Job Description

Our team supports the Enterprise Business Systems VP in various internal and external facing assignments, from simple activities to complex customer facing actions. Amongst others, we optimize product processes that support development and delivery, run continuous improvement initiatives, own the knowledge management framework and handle the creation of knowledge assets. The Business Process Analyst role is not clearly defined due to the hands-on nature in supporting the ever changing needs of Tradeshift. Therefore, any candidate must be used to coping with, and be able to manage, ever changing priorities and goals and also be able to deal with ambiguity.

  • Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma) through detailed analysis of existing business processes, creation of process flows, and strategic operational streamlining opportunities. 
  • Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams to document, test and implement process improvements.
  • Prepares process recommendation documents, including presentations, process maps, supporting metrics, business requirements and related impact analyses.
  • Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities; including specific data to identify root cause analysis. 
  • Measures performance against process requirements. Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls, and may conduct surveys to analyze best practices.
  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality, including detailed cost benefit analyses.
  • May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control. 
  • Develops detailed communications on project / team initiatives to key stakeholders, executive leadership, and fellow Enterprise Business Systems team members. 
     

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of recent experience managing multiple work streams of business process analysis and leveraging best-suited methodologies and practices.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher is preferred.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork.
  • Understanding of P2P end-to-end; experience with a eProcurement/eInvoicing/ERP tool-set in a super user role (ideally, in a techno-functional role)
  • Experience positively influencing, mentoring and being a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members with ability to coach on delivery methodologies with the business; strong facilitation skills with ability to work in a high-pressure, remote/distributed team environment
  • Basic Project Management experience, with ability to manage, plan, re-plan, execute and report; with the emphasis on execute
  • Ability to work with, and influence, Product Managers, Sales Executives and Professional Services Consultants to ensure success is achieved
  • Dynamic, team player who is also a self-starter with friendly and persuasive personality who can sell the benefits to deliver what is needed
