Job Description

Our team supports the Enterprise Business Systems VP in various internal and external facing assignments, from simple activities to complex customer facing actions. Amongst others, we optimize product processes that support development and delivery, run continuous improvement initiatives, own the knowledge management framework and handle the creation of knowledge assets. The Business Process Analyst role is not clearly defined due to the hands-on nature in supporting the ever changing needs of Tradeshift. Therefore, any candidate must be used to coping with, and be able to manage, ever changing priorities and goals and also be able to deal with ambiguity.

Perform business analysis and technical evaluation of business processes, end user needs, and existing information systems to create accurate business requirements and functional design specifications for solution implementation. The candidate will be responsible for the application design, development and support of Enterprise Business Systems related projects and have the ability to quickly understand the business process in order to properly align with the solution. The candidate must be able to effectively articulate and negotiate design decisions and considerations specific to the target solution.
 

  • Develop user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Enterprise application solutions for our clients
  • Work collaboratively with team members to design a solution that will meet a business requirements and fulfill user stories
  • Collaborate with developers to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirements
  • Participate in key meetings with clients including requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training
  • Evaluate and characterize trade-offs between project size, complexity, cost, urgency, risk and stakeholder values
  • Professionally document meetings, requirements, plans, schedules and incidents as necessary to drive ‘next steps’ and to keep stakeholders informed
  • Own and be accountable for successful delivery of internal process improvement initiatives, project plans, and project readiness
  • Brainstorm ideas and encourage knowledge sharing to provide creative solutions to stubborn problems.
     

Qualifications

  • Understanding of P2P end-to-end; experience with a eProcurement/eInvoicing/ERP toolset in a super user role (ideally, in a techno-functional role)
  • Understanding / appreciation of IT technologies development methodologies
  • Creative thinker and problem solver; for both internal and external customers
  • Hands on experience working with CRM, ERP, HCM applications, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls 
  • Strong facilitation skills to engage subject matter experts to define requirements and conduct design reviews with project teams
  • Highly analytical, detail oriented, diligent and not afraid to ask questions. Able to analyze, implement and improve complex systems/processes
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects/priorities concurrently within aggressive timeframes with an ability to cope under time pressures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent leadership, presentation, organization and team collaboration skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change and/or unpredictability
