Job Description

Role:

As our Product Growth Lead, you’ll own the optimization of the Tradeshift customer journey. You’ll understand how to navigate complex data and manage growth marketing with experience executing campaigns. Positioning the right message, at the right time, in the right place, bringing value to our seller customers. Reporting into Network Marketing, you’ll be embedded with the Product organisation and collaborate with our onboarding and sales teams, as well as liaise with external vendors. Shift happens! So you’ll be sharp and dynamic, ensuring continued growth of the network and revenue opportunities for core product offerings. This is a key role for Tradeshift as part of a new high-functioning department, focused on the success of every customer. What a day is like:​​​​​​

  • Drive user adoption of core products through outbound and inbound Marketing channels (primarily in-product and email)

  • Developing a holistic marketing strategy; utilizing B2B leading practices and customer segmentation to achieve aggressive goals

  • Identify insights and trends from complex data sources

  • Consistently optimize campaigns across existing channels and segments, establishing scalable data dashboards and real-time processes to effectively monitor performance 

  • Deep dive into onboarding metrics and develop testing plans to achieve acquisition, and revenue metrics within budget

  • Work closely with the internal product, product marketing and onboardings teams to build a full funnel content strategy and pipeline of creative assets

  • Communicate/refine best practices for each channel, format, and audience segment 

  • Develop and maintain a robust testing plan across new and existing channels and segments to minimize reliance on primary channels

  • Design attribution and engagement approach for Tradeshift developing internal models and (if appropriate) identifying/onboarding external partners

  • Ensuring proper structure and execution of campaigns to meet full-funnel objectives across channels

  • Manage, evaluation and onboarding of all new vendors and partners

  • Work effectively with product and onboarding teams to support product go-to-market launches and inventory plans, adjusting campaigns as needed to support effective revenue channels

  • In collaboration with the product and marketing teams, ensure congruent end-user experience across marketing channels, in-product, and customer communications

Qualifications

You’re perfect for this role if you:

  • 4-6 years experience with inbound and outbound marketing channels; including developing and implementing digital marketing strategies

  • Experience with email marketing automation tools, preferably Marketo

  • Strong quantitative and project management skills

  • Insatiable curiosity to figure out how things work and how to make them better via continuous improvement initiatives (A/B testing, root cause analysis, retargeting at all points of a customer’s journey, and optimizing the funnel)

  • Comfort with analyzing data, mapping how these metrics connect to the objectives a business, preparing an engaging story, and presenting the insights in a creative and actionable way

  • Expertise running quick, agile experiments that allow us to better optimize across a range of KPIs


You also have:

  • Experience working with developers and product managers

  • Experience with multivariate and BI testing tools such as DOMO, Google Optimize, Optimizely, Tableau, Looker, and/or Google Analytics

  • Methodical - being able to build optimization and experimentation frameworks

  • Good writing skills / sense of UX and design

  • Understanding of statistics is a plus

  • Experience in aggressive growth marketing in a B2B or B2C tech or ecommerce company a plus (converting 10s or 100s thousands of business individuals)

  • Light knowledge of HTML, CSS, common design tools, in-product tools such as Appcues

  • Ability to collaborate across multiple departments including product, engineering, marketing, data teams, UX design, sales and others
