The Town is currently accepting applications for two seasonal Arena Attendant positions within the Community and Protective Services team. As a member of this team, you will be dedicated to serving the residents of Stony Plain, as well as various local user groups utilizing the Arena.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Can perform janitorial duties and maintain cleanliness in facilities.
- Can assist with general building maintenance.
- Can help maintain indoor dry surfaces.
Conditions of Employment:
- C.S.A. steel-toed boots
- A clean Criminal Records check
- A Valid Alberta class 5 driver’s license, and a satisfactory driver’s Abstract.
- Current First Aid certification would be considered a definite asset.

In accordance with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 955, current Collective Agreement, the wage for these positions will be $21.97 per hour. Regular hours of work are approximately 20-30 hours per week. Successful applicants must be willing to work scheduled hours of evening and weekends. The term of seasonal employment will be approximately September 19, 2026 – March 20, 2026.
