The Town of Stony Plain is the local government authority responsible for planning and delivering municipal services in Stony Plain, a Canadian urban community of approximately 18,000 people on the traditional Indigenous lands of Treaty 6 peoples.

The Town of Stony Plain is currently accepting applications for a Casual Facility Attendant position available at Heritage Park.  This position requires the individual to perform a variety of tasks such as assisting with set up, take down, and monitoring of events, light administration duties, as well as janitorial and basic facility maintenance. The ideal candidate for this position will have a High School Diploma or equivalency (preferred), along with the ability to operate a variety of handheld and mechanical equipment as well as some basic knowledge of facility booking or event management.

• Provides exceptional customer service to event hosts, coworkers, and members of the public.
• Builds and maintains cooperative, positive working relationships with a diverse group of individuals.
• Can operate a variety of handheld and mechanical equipment.
• Can repetitively lift heavy objects (minimum 10 lbs).
• Adapt effectively to varying workloads and changing priorities.
• Is available to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Daytime availability is preferred.
• Can work a schedule that varies based on events, bookings, and facility needs.

In accordance with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 955 Collective Agreement, this position offers a wage rate of $21.97 per hour.
