The Town of Stony Plain is the local government authority responsible for planning and delivering municipal services in Stony Plain, a Canadian urban community of approximately 18,000 people on the traditional Indigenous lands of Treaty 6 peoples.
Job Description
Stony Plain Community and Social Development has a full-time seasonal position available for a Youth Mentor. Reporting to the Community Development Officer, Youth Engagement, this position will support the planning and delivery of engaging programs, activities, and special events that promote youth connection, well-being, and leadership development. Applicants are encouraged to describe in their cover letter how their interests or experience align with these areas. The ideal candidate for this position will be enrolled in, or a recent graduate from a related postsecondary program such as human services, social work, communications, or business.

Additional Information
The wage for this position is $24.30 per hour. The work week is based on 35 hours Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings and/or weekend commitments as required. This seasonal position is expected to start May 19, 2026, and end August 28, 2026.
