Job Description
The Town of Stony Plain has a permanent full-time position available for a Watch Clerk.
Working in the Parkland RCMP Detachment under the supervision of the Watch Clerk Coordinator, the Watch Clerk provides operational and clerical support to the RCMP members including, but not limited to, dispatch, file management, data searches, and duties specific to operational software (PROS, PIP, CPIC, JOIN and ROADS).

- Demonstrates a high level of concentration and focus, especially when managing emergency scenarios.
- Able to apply strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills when addressing public concerns or complaints.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Grade 12 Diploma
- Minimum one year of experience in a comparable position.
- Post-secondary education in Legal Administration would be considered an asset.

The successful candidate will be required to work shift work, including evenings and weekends. Based on a 37.5-hour work week, the salary range for this position is $54, 914 - $ 69,866 per annum. The Town offers an excellent benefits package including the Local Authorities Pension Plan. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain an RCMP Enhanced Level Security Clearance; a current and active clearance is an asset.
