This is a really very nice job working in a beautiful part of England, on an estate where they train horses and run small shoots.

The job is for a housekeeper to look after a 5 bedroom house which has a couple living in it.  They do not have any children but they do have two Labradors!

The role would be to generally help with the running of the house, keeping it clean and well presented, cook good family style food for the couple and occasional guests, making up guest rooms when necessary, help on shoot days (they have two cooks come in, you would only be helping with setting tables etc.) etc.

It is essential that you have worked as a housekeeper with family cooking in a private home for at least 3 years, and you must have a driving licence and be an experienced driver.  You will also need to speak excellent English, have a good work record and excellent references, and be 'dog friendly'.

This is a live in job working five days a week with two days off a week which can be at the weekends but you will need to be flexible.  The couple do travel a lot so they need someone who is reliable and trustworthy.  Your accommodation could be either your own bedsitting room with ensuite bathroom in the house or there is a two bedroom cottage in the grounds that their very nice lady head groom lives in which you could share.  Salary would be £400 net pw.
