Job Description

 

  • Take calls from customers/residents regarding delivery of the Cambridge Times/flyers to resolve any issues or requests
  • Respond to customer complaints through the customer service platform involving delivery of the Cambridge times and any other inquires/issues.
  • Call potential independent contractor with available routes, provide the orientation information and process onboarding paperwork
  • Using our internal platform to process any weekly independent contractor changes, ensuring that the correct pay is received each month and making any necessary modifications as needed.
  • Updating the New Hamburg data base with new and existing subscribers from the mail pick up at the Post Office
  • Print out the labels for the weekly mail out subscriptions for the New Hamburg Independent subscribers
  • Collect money from the Guelph office for store sales and process Bank Deposit of the cash and subscription cheques
  • Send deposit slip and cash sheet details to the accounting department monthly
  • Handle resident requests and forward them to drivers for fulfillment.
  • Respond to calls from carriers regarding vacations, quits etc. and process it in our in-house platform
  • Any other duties as required.

Working Schedule

  • Work from Home and travel to site

Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School diploma an asset
  • Microsoft Excel is an asset, and on the job training is provided
  • Superior customer service and the ability to develop positive team relationships
  • Solid organizational and time management skills, detail oriented, and task prioritization
  • Highly flexible and adaptable; able to react quickly and effectively to urgent and changing requests
  • Strong computer abilities and Microsoft office proficiency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Responsible, self-motivated, and able to function with minimal supervision
  • Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license required
