Job Description

In this newly created role reporting into the Vice President – Marketing, the Senior Data & Insights Manager will use their analytical skills to uncover and apply insights to fuel customer and revenue growth.

Your core accountability will be to elevate our test and learn capabilities by bringing your experience in a similar eCommerce background.  Your knowledge in digital marketing, and analyzing web and mobile app performance will help us drive user engagement and conversion to subscription.  Your ability to share trends and insights clearly and succinctly will make you a key member of our growing Acquisition and Retention team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Marketing Campaigns: use business intelligence to identify new opportunities to grow revenue and subscribers.  Your experience incorporating price, product, visuals and messaging changes in your analysis will be key
  • Drive Experimentation for Continuous Improvement:  Implement Test & Learn tracking and performance models to help A/B and multivariate test priorities.  Perform and share post-test analysis
  • Be a Digital Storyteller:  Build audience/customer profiles using internal and external behavioural data. Utilize usage, revenue, LTV and costs data to identify trends to improve user experience and grow subscriptions
  • Optimize Lifetime Value:  Partner with Finance for future price and product offerings that grow and retain high LTV customers
  • Monitor external trends:  Maintain an awareness of competitive information and key industry trends to provide context for improving performance
  • Actively participate and present in weekly management results meetings
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting

Qualifications

Why You Will Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, statistics, math or another quantitative discipline; or college diploma with equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of digital analytics experience using Google Analytics in an eCommerce context including implementing event tracking, custom dimensions/metrics through Google Tag Manager
  • You must be passionate about data-driven decision-making, detail-oriented, smart, efficient, and driven to help our business succeed
  • Highly proficient at data manipulation skills (extracting, transforming, loading) with the ability to merge web analytic data with additional customer behavioral data
  • Strong quantitative skills are required to analyze and optimize campaign performance
  • Deep understanding of key digital marketing metrics (CPA, CPC, CPM, AOV, LTV, etc.) 
  • Proficient with SQL, Advanced Excel and comfortable learning new business intelligence and vendor reporting tools
