We are seeking an energetic, driven individual to join our Circulation dept. This position sources carriers to deliver our print product.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategies aimed at youth carrier recruitment and retention initiatives, providing added incentives to the Metroland carrier force. 
  • Work with circulation representatives focusing on areas/markets where youth carriers are needed. 
  • Manage our adult carrier workforce
  • Through service and cooperation, develop and maintain strong relationships with our circulation team.
  • Provide end-to-end office management, including face-to-face, telephone & e-mail enquiries
  • Audit all critical tickets from our call centre to ensure it is taken care of within 24 hours
  • Coordinate all corporate complaints making sure responses are made immediately.
  • Support staff with our DocuSign and monitor to ensure the correct information is on the contract
  • Bi-weekly payroll for carriers and create monthly management reports for P&L.
  • Weekly processing pays for truckers.

 

Qualifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and competent listener.
  • Detail-oriented and good sense of prioritizing of varied tasks • Highly flexible and adaptable; able to react quickly and effectively to urgent requests and to change priorities
  • Superior customer skills, including being able to placate challenging and demanding clients.
  • Strong administration skills with accurately updating and maintaining information.
  • Capable of taking initiative and can work independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline driven and demanding environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective organizational skills, ability to manage time and prioritize tasks appropriately.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Successfully handle confidential information and use appropriate discretion
