Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated, creative, and detailed oriented person to be part of our team. This opportunity requires an individual who can multitask, with high attention to detail and good accounting, Excel, technical and problem solving skills.

Scope:

  • Complete weekly/monthly billing cycle for assigned clients
  • Review client billings to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness
  • Analyze and Investigate to resolve any client billing / payment related issues
  • Assist in month end tasks as needed, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Participate in special projects that require working with both external and internal cross – functional teams
  • Collaborate with the team to effectively transition data to the new system
  • Work with the Torstar accounting team to transition various tasks to Parcel
  • Analyze financial data, perform variance analysis, and review trends
  • Evaluate financial performance and operational KPIs
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and use of GAAP
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • 3+ years of experience in Saas Accounting and Saas Revenue Recognition
  • 3+ years of experience with Netsuite is a MUST
  • Post secondary education, Accounting or BBA Major
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
