Job Description

You are a dynamic, savvy media professional who can dive in and immediately add value by increasing client investment in our house of brands. Your professional demeanor and highly developed interpersonal and communication skills make you an expert in building relationships, as well as driving cross-functional cooperation with internal teams. You can prioritize multiple complex projects and deliverables – whether they call for strategic vision or deep statistical analysis. You thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, and leverage a highly resourceful and accountable “can do” mindset to overcome day-to-day obstacles and challenges.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver advertising campaign reporting that tells a story and provides actionable insights
  • Collect and transform raw data collected from various sources including Google Ad Manager, Facebook, Omniture and Google Ad Words
  • Find and communicate key insights from multiple campaigns to maximize advertising marketing objectives as well as advance product planning
  • Enable clients and internal stakeholders to be data driven and make fact-based decisions while deriving customer insights from digital analytics datasets
  • Design, build, maintain, and validate digital analytics dashboards using data visualization tools (Ninja Cat) to systematically analyze performance, product and campaign trends
  • Automation and problem solving; as an analytics and campaign reporting subject matter expert that works with our Campaign Specialist team and Sales Reps to understand client and product requirements to implement suitable, self-serve reporting and dashboard solutions
  • Proactively gather feedback from end users about reports, dashboards and data stories to update and/or create current templates
  • Work closely with campaign reporting vendor to find efficiencies within the platform
  • Lead training for partner teams on the campaign reporting platform, helping to create materials and best practices
  • Create and maintain benchmark analytics
  • Understand and analyze industry data trends at the product level and how those translate to the Torstar campaign reporting story
  • Share skills and knowledge with follow team members, while building productive internal and external working relationships to drive business results

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of digital advertising and/or analytics experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Effective communication (both verbally and written), with a focus on client service
  • An inquisitive, analytical mindset with the desire to solve problems
  • Capability to grow and prosper in an ever-changing, complex environment
  • Ability to function equally well independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Google Ad Manager (or any ad server), DSPs, Omniture, Google Ad Words and Facebook Analytics strongly preferred
