Job Description

As an Email Marketing Coordinator, you will work with cross-functional teams to support Torstar Corporation’s growth initiatives by executing email campaigns targeting our subscriber audiences. This role is involved in all aspects of email marketing, including planning, briefing, deployment, reporting and analytics.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the email calendar to traffic requests for deployments from various business units
  • Work with the marketing and sales teams to ensure strategic initiatives are reflected in email in an accurate and effective manner
  • Support the management of email deployment workflow including management/collection of creative and copy assets across multiple verticals
  • Day-to-day email campaign execution, including set-up, segmentation, scheduling, and reporting
  • Confirm all email links, and personalized fields are functioning properly
  • Support any design changes, CSS and HTML updates, and troubleshoot template, content, and images
  • Reporting on post-campaign email results with insights and KPI’s
  • Assist in the maintenance and growth of subscriber audiences to support revenue goals
  • Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices
  • Update email campaigns to client brand guidelines and templates
  • A/B testing and learning
  • Other duties may be required

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of MS Office and Google Sheets
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working directly with an email marketing platform
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Minimum 1-3 years marketing or related experience
  • University or college degree in marketing or related discipline
