Job Description

The Data Engineering Team currently seeks a passionate professional to join us as a Engineer, Data Visualization. We are looking to expand our team by adding an individual that has extensive experience with modeling, developing, designing, and promoting reporting solutions.

Your Responsibilities…

  • Develop, solution, and troubleshoot cloud-based data ingestion, processing, and analytics frameworks in an AWS environment
  • Support and maintain a large Tableau Server environment and support its users
  • Review development Tableau dashboards and assist with promotion to production with best practices and governance
  • Perform administration activities including performance tuning, backups, server upgrades and security on the Tableau Environment
  • Monitor user server activity to identify possible performance issues & enhancements
  • Ensure development code is reviewed and tested carefully for scalability and accountability when promoting to production

What You Will Bring To The Team…

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or engineering or relevant work experience
  • 2+ years as a software developer or data engineer, with a strong base in OOP and software development processes and concepts
  • 3+ years with Tableau Server administration, Tableau best practices and troubleshooting Tableau content or other reporting environments
  • Experience with Active Directory applications
  • Experience with performing system upgrades
  • Experience working with BI tools including ETL & Data Warehousing tools
  • Experience building and optimizing technical environments in the cloud such as AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Experience reviewing, improving, and debugging production-level issues with other’s code
  • Hands on experience with any or all the following: Docker, Airflow, and Jenkins
  • Experience in digital media is considered an asset
