Toppazzini and Lee Consulting (T&L) is a boutique consulting firm located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. T&L specializes in providing lean six sigma consulting, outsourcing and training for the public sector, health care, manufacturing and financial services.
Although T&L specializes in Lean Six Sigma our outsourcing practice includes a range of temporary resourcing options such as Information Technology, Business Process Management and Re-engineering, Lean Six Sigma, Lean, Six Sigma, Human Resources and Project and Risk Management.
Job Description
We are establishing an ongoing pool of qualified resources that could be contacted if and when a suitable contract opportunity is presented. Please note this is not an employment position.
You will be contacted if and when we receive a suitable contract opportunity. We anticipate that most contracts would be for the Canadian federal government and most of the work to be conducted in Ottawa.
Qualifications
We are looking for junior, intermediate and senior level project coordinators.
The resource must have 5 (5=junior, 5-9=intermediate, 10+=senior) or more years experience performing many of the following tasks:
- Assist project management and data processing professionals, technical users and end users
in project coordination and synchronization tasks.
- Provide administrative and technical support of a clerical nature as required to a project team.
- Assist in performing such tasks as maintaining project documentation and application/system
libraries.
- Act as the first or single point of contact in a "hot-line" situation by accepting incoming calls,
logging calls, attempting to resolve simple problems and following established procedures for
more difficult problems.
- Track project change requests.
- Maintain and update relevant project information in manual and/or electronic files; project
information might include such things as project activity schedule, status reports,
correspondence.
- Use computer tools, aids, system control languages on PCs, minis, or mainframes, and software such as MS Project to perform work.
- Communicate with project management and data processing professionals, technical users
and end users on administrative matters related to the project.
Most of the experience should have been obtained working with Canadian Government departments.
The resource should have a valid Government of Canada security clearance at a level of enhanced reliability or higher.
Fluency in english and french will be considered an asset.
